Finally a dependable solids separator that comes with a media agitator, doesn't suck air, where heavier solids swirl to the center and lighter solids are caught in the special Vortek Media where they wait to be backwashed out to waste. Comes complete with installation kit. Increases bio surface area of filtration system.

Can be used with any Bead or Sand filter system. Comes complete with all the parts as shown in picture above.

Vortek SS Delux

The Delux comes with internal media balls for a more advanced total solids separation. Also includes a Media Agitator to break up debris, algae, fish waste, etc prior to backwashing. Increases bio surface area of filtration system.
